Ministries

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. All are welcome to the monthly meetings held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00pm in the Hall.

Senior Altar Server

Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.

Stations of the Cross

Held Friday evenings during Lent.

Usher

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection. (Volunteers are needed to coordinate and and schedule ushers when needed. If you are interested in volunteering as an usher or as a coordinator, please call the office.)

Flowers and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.

Greeters

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Sacristan

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Knights of Columbus

The North Cross Council of K of C meet at the parish twice a month. If you are interested in joining this brotherhood of volunteers, please contact the office.

Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. We offer classes in both Spanish and English as needed.  

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. (If you are interested in volunteering in this ministry, please call the office).

Social Hour

Parishioners are invited after the 11:00 Mass on Sunday to join us in the Hall for coffee and donuts a nd fellowship. (Volunteers are needed to coordinate the volunteer schedule and related tasks associated with the weekly Social Hour). 

Lector

Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.
