Ministries

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. All are welcome to the monthly meetings held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00pm in the Hall.

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

The North Cross Council of K of C meet at the parish twice a month. If you are interested in joining this brotherhood of volunteers, please contact the office.

Held Friday evenings during Lent.

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. (If you are interested in volunteering in this ministry, please call the office).

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection. 

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.
